Why shall I study Management and Economics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum?

The Faculty of Management and Economics of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum stands for an integrative approach of Management and Economics that is widely known as the ‘Bochum Model’. We do not only think that both areas complement each other very well, but believe that they are the basis for an optimal economic education.
Our Single-subject Bachelor program ‘Management and Economics’ follows the idea of the integrative approach as you study Management and Economics together. Within the two-subject Bachelor program, students can either choose between Management or Economics. We recommend the Two-subject Bachelor program to students, who intend to work in an area, where beside economic skills knowledge of another subject is required as well.
